We waited 30mins with empty bellies to finally get seated for dim sum but it’s well worth it at Western Lake.








The dumplings are HUGE! The congee is well seasoned, and the chinese-donut wrapped in rice rolls are pure genius. And guess what? The spare-ribs actually have chunks of meat on it.
When I asked a waiter for hot sauce and xo sauce, he not only remembered to bring it he brought it out very promptly. That is very rare for any busy Chinese restaurant.
I always leave satisfied without a dent in my wallet.
My only suggestion is get there early because the line-ups can be an hour long wait.
